Who's helping out?
It started as a trickle and soon it became a stream.
Sridhar (father of Sidharth) was a student of SVU College of Engineering (SVUCE) Tirupati in the early 90s. The Old Students Association (OSA) of SVUCE in US has taken initiative to help Sridhar and his son.
The OSA is helping to generate funds, find accommodation near Detroit Hospital and in other forms. This effort is lead by Suresh Perugu who was Faulty at SVUCE and is now based in Southern California. Suresh Perugu (suresh_perugu@yahoo.com) is being helped by Satheesh Challa Veera (skrchalla@yahoo.com), another SVUCE student who was Sridhar's classmate. Satheesh is currently based in Northern California.
Another friend of Suresh, Anand Musunur (amusunur@yahoo.com), lives in Detroit area and is actively involved in communicating with the local doctors and social workers at William Beaumont Hospital.
Our sincere thanks to the following individuals who are actively involved in the fundraising efforts:
Siva (siva.v@jbssolutionsinc.com)_Well wisher of Sidharth from Iowa
Aneel Choppa (achoppa123@yahoo.com) _(SVUCE Student who was Sridhar's classmate)
Ram Cheurvu (ramteha@yahoo.com)_ President of Telugu Cultural Association, Houston, TX
Our sincere thanks to Dr Vani Padmaja and Dr Joshi (Beaumont Hospital) who took extra effort in talking to Sridhar and the team on conference calls to clarify questions and provide more information. But for their effort this team would not have made such a progress as we accomplished so far. Still we have a very long way to go.
Our sincere gratitude to Ms KIERA MILLER, at Extended Stay of America (Hotel code:0552) near hospital for her generous, humanitarian consideration in providing an excellent discount on the monthly price. She also told us that she will extend every possible way to make sure their stay is comfortable. With out Ms Millers help we should have lost some valuable donations in accommodation costs. The team expresses our thanks to Ms Miller.
Ms Rama Kudligi and Mr. Nishtla for their excellent contribution to take Sridhar’s mind of travel arrangements. Mr. Nishtla is one exceptional person who was following the progress in US Consulate and every where very closely. Thank you both of you for your wonderful contribution to this cause.
To the staff and officers of US Consulate who did a phenomenal job in taking care of the VISA process making it a very pleasant experience for the Family
Finally, this effort is not possible without all of you who have pledged and have already sent your kind contributions.
